Cost: $15 refundable upon completion of course.
Lesson Topics: What are Utah’s specific air quality issues? Why is polluted air a problem? What is being done to reduce pollution? What can we each do to be part of the solution?
Curriculum Supports:
- 5th grade - Chemical Reactions, 5.2.1 & 5.2.2
- 6th grade - Molecules, 6.2.1 & 6.2.2 & 6.4.4 & 6.4.5
- 8th grade - Natural Resources 8.1.2 & 8.4.1-3
- 9th Earth and Space Science - Natural Resources 4.1
Participants will receive:
- 7 relicensure points for teachers
- Equipment, $150 value
- Reimbursement for substitute up to $100.00
- Lunch and snacks
